Hi! My name is MJ McClure and I'm raising money to help achieve a dream I've had for 25 years: riding and racing my bike across the country. I've been preparing for this event over the last several months and am just about ready to set off on June 1st.

Dreams don't often come cheap, and this one is no exception. I've done my best to keep the budget in check, but flights, shipping, and life on the road for three weeks adds up for someone who's primary job description is "stay at home parent," and who's night job doesn't pay much and doesn't offer paid time off.

Anything that anyone wants to chip in will be very much appreciated and will go a long way towards reducing the stress of this undertaking so that I can focus on turning the pedals and enjoying the experience.
