My husband and I have been helping stray cats in Kefalonia for many years. What began with feeding hungry cats has grown into an ongoing commitment to animals that have nobody else to depend on.

Through MJ Kittycare, we provide food throughout the year, veterinary treatment for sick and injured strays, medication and parasite treatments, and safe shelter wherever we can.

We personally fund this work ourselves, but the continuing cost of food and veterinary care has become considerable. There is always another hungry cat to feed, another illness to treat or an injured animal needing veterinary help.

MJ Kittycare is not a registered charity. We are simply a small, privately run effort dedicated to helping Kefalonia’s strays. We take no wages or personal expenses from donations. 100% of money donated through this fundraiser will be used for the animals we help.

We spend part of our time in Kefalonia and part in the UK, but the cats are provided with food and care throughout the year. When we are here, much of our time is spent feeding, checking on the cats and helping those that are sick or injured.

Donations will help towards food, veterinary bills, medication, parasite treatment and shelter. Even a small donation helps us continue this work.

We know we cannot help every stray on the island, but for every animal we can help, it can make an enormous difference.

Thank you for supporting MJ Kittycare see link https://facebook.com/mjkittycare and helping us continue to care for Kefalonia’s stray cats. ‍⬛
