Help MJ compete in collegiate powerlifting at LSU

I never expected to fall in love with anything the way I fell in love with powerlifting my senior year of high school. I joined my school's team simply because the early practices fit into my schedule, and soon realized that I had found something special. The sport itself allowed me to challenge my body in ways I hadn't before, and push myself in ways I had never dreamed of. My team was the most supportive community I have ever been a part of and constantly helped me to push my limits. Now, as I enter my first year of college, I am faced with many difficult choices and decisions. After eagerly joining the LSU powerlifting team, excited to experience the same community and competition I had in high school, I have realized that I am unable to afford the dues associated with collegiate competitions. With your help, I can continue competing in the sport I love, and achieve my goal of becoming a national champion.
