This is Miyagi! He’s 7 1/2 years old and he just had MPL (medial patellar luxation) surgery 5 weeks ago. This week he started have really bad pain episodes. We took him to an emergency vet thinking it was related to his knee surgery and they diagnosed him with IVDD (intervertebral disc disease). Most of the time it can be managed with pain medication and muscle relaxers. That worked for a few days but now he is in constant pain. The next step would be an MRI and surgery. We just spent $1,800 on his knee surgery and will unfortunately need help for his next one. He’s still a young pup with a lot of life to live comfortably and would appreciate any help you could give!
