Hello and thank you for taking the time to read my story. My name is Mixy Soto, and I am a community-based certified doula. I am also the owner of Divine Power Holistic Doula. I chose to get into birth work because I believe the lives of pregnant people and babies are sacred and need to be protected at all costs. I have made it a goal to keep giving back to my community through my God-given gifts. I would like to expand my skill set and be able to apply it to my doula work. Creating and supporting wellness for people is something I am passionate about.
I am seeking to raise money to cover my tuition for massage therapy school. Taking a loan is not an option, so paying cash is my best option at the moment. Becoming a massage therapist will allow me to practice with a state board license and contribute to the well-being of my clients. My goal is to add my massage therapy education to my repertoire so that I may be of better assistance to my community. Wellness services are something that everyone should have access to, but the financial aspect of things can be a deterrent. I would be able to offer affordable massages, specifically prenatal and postpartum massages, plus expand my services to my community in general.

Anatomy / Physiology / Kinesiology
Neuro/Myology

I feel confident about the school I have chosen as it is accredited, and the curriculum is acknowledged by the state of Michigan for the state board exam. The tuition is $8000.00 and that includes: textbooks, a set of massage table and chairs to practice at home with, AMTA membership, and my student insurance. Thank you once again for taking the time to read my story and for contributing to my education as a community doula!
