This morning, I received a call no one wants to get—my dad let me know that my brother’s house had caught on fire.

Thankfully, by the grace of God, everyone made it out safely. The fire started in the kitchen due to an electrical issue and caused significant damage to their home.

If you know me, you know how much I love and admire my brother. Mitch is one of the most selfless, compassionate people I’ve ever known. He’s faced many challenges in life and always meets them with strength and humility. This is just another hurdle, but one no family should have to face alone.

Mitch, his wife, their four kids, a dog, and a cat are now left trying to pick up the pieces and figure out what comes next. They’ve lost their home and so many of the things we all take for granted every day.

We know God has already provided in the most important way—by keeping them safe. Now we’re asking for help in providing the next part: stability, shelter, and a path forward.
