I am writing this with a heavy heart as we navigate the final hours of Mitchell’s father’s life. For the past month , Mitchell has been by his father's side , providing the care and comfort he needs before he was put on hospice last week.

Because Mitchell has had to miss so much work to be here for his dad, our family is facing a very difficult financial situation. We are reaching out to our friends, neighbors, and community to ask for help covering the costs of a simple, respectful cremation and to help us stay on our feet while Mitchell is away from his job.

We have three young children at home (ages 13, 9, and 5) who are also processing the loss of their grandfather. Our goal is to raise enough to cover the final arrangements and ensure our bills are met so Mitchell can focus on being the father and partner we need right now.
