Help Mitchell’s family with nursing home expense

Our colleague and friend Mitchell Rosenthal suffered a severe heart attack in early August, 2022. After several sedated weeks, Mitchell is beginning to turn the corner and will hopefully soon be on a very long road to recovery, though his prognosis is still up in the air. An emergency of this magnitude is exceptionally challenging emotionally and financially. Let's help Mitchell and his family during this difficult time and as they prepare for his long-term care. As his wife says, we can all attest that Mitchell is the kindest, gentlest, goofiest, and happiest person; he does absolutely everything for his family. As we pray for his full recovery, our financial support can hopefully help his family as they deal with the significant challenges ahead.

Update: Mitchell has reached his recovery potential having suffered traumatic brain injury due to lack of oxygen. Doctors don’t expect any more progress. Nursing home charges family $10,000/month. Impossible to pay this and handle our living expenses. Thank you, everyone, for all you’ve done and continue to do.
