Help Mitchell complete his phalloplasty

Hello everyone! Firstly, I want to thank you for even coming on and reading my story! To give everyone a backstory I had bottom surgery in 2016 by Dr. Sherman Leis in Pennsylvania. I remember when I first got a call from my Medicaid(my insurance) saying that I was approved to get bottom surgery and right when I found out, I started calling around to a bunch of places that did bottom surgery! I was more than ecstatic to find someone in less than a couple of days. The surgeon that I went to told me that he did glansplasty, and all the other surgeries with in the surgery that I wanted to happen during my phalloplasty surgery, so I thought everything would be perfect. He never ended up doing the glansplasty on me. I was left disappointed and confused. While I love my anatomy, there is a big piece of a missing, which is glandplasty. If you aren’t sure or knowledgeable on what that is, I recommend looking it up just to become more educated on that! Just because I don’t think I’m able to share that on here, maybe I’ll just say it creates the “mushroom affect”. It’s been very hard mentally to come to the acceptance that I’m not happy and I’m not OK with my body. I would say it’s been years that I have just been trying my best to ignore this and not accept the fact that I’m not happy. For a long time I was trying to tell myself that I love my body and that everything is perfect but unfortunately that’s not the truth and not how I truly feel. I’ve been trying to get the surgery probably for the past two years now because I finally came to the realization that I am not happy with my body and I know that this is the one thing that I need that will really secure me within myself. My insurance right now doesn’t cover it as I have Medicaid through Arizona and the flight to get there, the surgery itself is $6000 altogether, including the stay at the hospital. I’ll be going to Dr. Chen in San Diego California! Since I’m only getting glansplasty I won’t have to be out there longer then 3 days! I’ve already had the consultation with him years ago about it and then again a couple months ago to solidify everything. What I’m going try to do is raise enough money to either pay for the surgery in full or get enough money to pay for a good insurance that will cover the surgery with a certain deductible limit. Which ever I get to first I’ll be choosing. By supporting this and supporting me you’re helping someone immensely. You’re helping someone feel complete within their body as they haven’t even since having bottom surgery in 2016. It’s been seven years since I’ve really done anything about it and I really need this to feel confident comfortable, and so many other feelings. Thank you so much for reading and if you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to me.
