Help Mitch travel to see his dying father...

Hi, my name is Janet and I am helping my friend Mitchell Herndon travel from Arizona to Charleston, South Carolina to see his dying father one last time.
Mitchell is a veteran and former firefighter who needs to see his dad before he dies. He has been in Cornville, Arizona for the past 8 years, and in that time has had some struggles financially and medically. He needs $2200 to get home to South Carolina and to stay in a hotel there. His father's cancer has metastasized and it is only a matter of time now.
Mitch's dad is his hero. He was a Marine in Vietnam, and then he served as a firefighter for 30 years. Mitch looked up to his father and spent much of his childhood in the firehouse, and went on to become a firefighter alongside his dad for two years. He went on to be a Wildland firefighter for another year after that. Mitch went on to serve in the military like his father and grandfather before him.
Mitch is one of the kindest, most compassionate souls. He was raised in the church, and his parents have been married for 52 years. His mom is taking care of his dad and would love nothing more than to have her only son come home and see his dad before his time on this earth is up. He hasn't been home in 8 years.
Mitch's father was exposed to and affected by Agent Orange. He designed these two patches that express his appreciation for Vietnam veterans. His hope is to one day create a non-profit organization that serves veterans. He gave my husband, a Vietnam Veteran, these patches and made his day! He is a poet as well as an artist, and an all-around humble and caring person.
Even $5 will help him to get home. Please share this fundraiser to all of your socials.
Thanks from the bottom of this Vietnam Veteran's wife! Every cent of the money raised will be transferred directly to Mitchell, and arrangements for hotel and airfare will be made immediately upon raising the needed funds.
