Help Mitch Recover from Summer Setbacks

Hello, I am Mitch Cohen, an artist and founder of First Saturday Arts Market in the Houston Heights. I'm asking for help to catch up on unpaid bills primarily from loss of income and unexpected expenses.

My plans for summer started in May, to paint daily, write and a few other things. I didn’t have a back up plan or enough saved in case things went awry and then … mother nature noticed and asked, “You got back up plans, son? No? Well that’s too bad!”

I met every little setback with new resolve and the mini disasters continued like dominoes falling. I pivoted and took on house painting jobs, more art commissions and still got no where! Catching up has been nearly impossible. I am now reaching out, hoping a little bit from many may help me end this summer better than it started.

I’m preparing now for this season’s First Saturday Arts Market, that makes me so happy! Come and visit. I’m also planning for those what ifs too! Sharing life’s problems and asking for help is hard.
