Help Mitch on His Journey to Recovery

Hello family and friends!!! As most of you know, my brother Mitch was born with a rare connective tissue disorder called Marfan syndrome. It’s an inherited disorder that affects the body in many ways but most significantly the heart. Sooooo after multiple major surgeries, in and out of the hospital as a child (God bless our parents❤️) a few scares here and there.. fast forward 34 years…and Mitch is onto open heart surgery #2. The bad news is…the situation could absolutely be life threatening. The good news is… Mitch has kept up his end of the deal on his lease on life and followed up with each appointment, medication, and doctor’s advice every step of the way, so the chances of long term success are looking good!!! I’m proud of you, brother!

We will know more in the coming week as to when and where the surgery will take place and I will update information as we go, but as we’ve been here before, the recovery will be quite extensive.

A few friends local to where Mitch lives in the mountains of North Carolina have organized a couple fundraisers!! Heck yeah!! Thank you guys so much for showing our Mitch the LOVE❤️!!!!

In the meantime, however, I’ve had several friends and family from far and near ask about donating to help the cause, so we decided to put this little thing together. We appreciate you guys so much and please do not feel obligated to give..this is honestly just in response to people asking how they can help!!! Thank you thank you thank you!!!!!
