Hello everyone,
My name is Sharol, and I’m reaching out during the most heartbreaking moment our family has ever faced.
On December 1, my husband — Coach Mitch — was involved in a horrific car accident that changed our lives in an instant. Many of you know him as a passionate, dedicated football coach who has poured his heart into every athlete he’s ever worked with. To our family, he is our protector, our joy, and the steady, loving presence who makes our house a home. Seeing him now in a hospital bed, fighting through pain and suffering is something I never imagined we would experience.
Coach Mitch remains in the hospital with a very long road to recovery ahead. Doctors have prepared us for months of healing, and possibly longer. I am doing everything I can to stay strong for him, but the weight of managing our world alone is overwhelming. I am working full-time, attending school, caring for our home, traveling back and forth to the hospital, and trying to face the mounting medical bills and everyday expenses all at once.
It is incredibly difficult to ask for help — especially when you’re used to carrying so much on your own. But I also know how many lives Mitch has touched. I’ve watched him encourage young athletes when they needed guidance the most, stand by families in their toughest moments, and give everything he has to a community he loves deeply. He has always been the first to show up for others. Now, he needs all of us to show up for him.
Your support will help with:
• Medical bills, treatments, and rehabilitation
• Travel costs for hospital visits
• Monthly living expenses while I continue working and going to school
• Helping keep our life stable until Mitch can come home
Any amount, no matter how small, makes a meaningful difference. If you can’t donate, please share this page and keep Coach Mitch in your thoughts and prayers. We truly feel the love from every message, every call, and every act of kindness during this unimaginable time.
Thank you for standing with us. We are taking things one day at a time and holding onto hope that with your support, Coach Mitch will regain his strength, heal fully, and return to the life — and the team — he loves so much.
With love and gratitude,
Sharol
