Two months before his due date, baby Miles made a sudden and urgent entrance into the world. Born via emergency C-section, his tiny but determined spirit faced an uphill battle from the start. Miles had to be flown from Flagstaff to Phoenix Children’s Hospital, where he is now receiving specialized care in the NICU.

While the doctors and nurses focus on helping Miles grow stronger, his parents (my brother and sister-in-law) are facing challenges no family should have to worry about during such a fragile time. Not only are they navigating the emotional rollercoaster of having a premature baby in the hospital, but they are also dealing with the reality of needing to move out of their current home by the end of the month.

They want nothing more than to be fully present for Miles. To hold his tiny hands, talk to him, and be there for every small milestone, but the weight of financial stress makes that so much harder. Travel expenses, time off work, moving costs, and the uncertainty of what lies ahead are overwhelming.

I’m raising money so they can focus on what truly matters. Being with their son, without the burden of worrying about bills and logistics. Every contribution, no matter the size, will help them cover basic needs, keep a roof over their heads, and remain by Miles’ side during his critical first months.
