My sweet dog Sapphire suddenly fell ill without any warning. We thought at first that it might have been a physical injury, but now, we are convinced that it is a neurological issue that has inhibited her from walking. She needs an MRI scan as soon as possible to help her chances. However, a scan can cost $5k to conduct.

Currently, I am a graduate student at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and my dog and family live in Georgia. Actively, I am trying to better financially situate us by pursuing as much education as possible, but we still do not have the financial and caretaker means to get Sapphire the immediate and effective help that's necessary.

I have raised her since she was only about two weeks old, and she has been such a loving light to all who meets her. It hurts so much to see her not being able to walk when she once loved to run all around. We often would go for jogs and long strolls. I would love to give her that chance again to do what she once loved so dearly.
