HELP MISTI FIGHT CANCER

Hi! My name is Misti and I am a Christian who was led to nursing by God. I wasn't given the the blessing of being able to have my own children but I have worked to help mom's, dad's, and their kids have the best lives possible. God also blessed me with my husband Matt who means everything to me and through him I was blessed with two beautiful and amazing bonus children who I want to see grow up and show the world how wonderful they are. Over the years God has challenged me in many ways and now I face my biggest fight yet. I have the big C, cancer. It has eaten up most of my colon and also my liver. It seems pretty bleak but I am going to do everything I can to fight this beast. I have my faith in God, my loving family, and some amazing friends. Right now it looks like the doctor's suggestions are further imaging, surgery including possibly a colostomy bag, chemo and radiation for both the colon and liver. Unfortunately, we don't have the funds to pay for the expensive medical costs required to complete these things and they told me I don't qualify for assistance from the hospital. I have already incurred hefty bills in the past few weeks just to identify the cause of all my pain and agony. I will provide updates at every turn and show the ups and downs of this battle. Anything can help, even advice on how to keep going and complementary therapies to get me through this difficult and scary time. Thank you and God bless you all!
