Help Misti and her family with medical bills

Misti is the most amazing, spunky, funny, energetic person I’ve ever met. She has lifted up others all her life with empathy and complete acceptance. Now it’s our turn to help lift her.  

 

Misti has been in a battle against breast cancer for the last 16 years. She was first diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer when her baby was just 3 years old. She was given a grim prognosis. However, that didn’t stop her. She continued to try new treatments and plans to get healthy. Over the years she has endured many painful procedures including chemotherapy, brain surgery (twice), gamma knife, and radiation. Recently, the cancer moved into her spine causing her unbearable pain. She has not been able to walk and was admitted into the hospital for emergency surgery a month ago to remove tumors on her upper spine. Following surgery, she endured more radiation on her lower spine for even more tumors. She is a true warrior and survivor, everyone who knows and loves her is so amazed by her (including her doctors).

Her husband Tom, is a beloved principal at  a local high school. (Brighton High) They have medical insurance to cover most costs, however the co-pays and surgeries have been adding up and the medical debt continues to rise.
