Help Mister Recover: Support for Loving Parents

Donation protected
If you know my parents, then you know how kind-hearted they are and how they are helpers to others. My parents have helped so many people financially, and they are now taking care of my daddy's sister who has had to move in with them, which has taken a toll on them physically and financially as well. I have never done anything like this, and my parents will not be happy that I am doing it for them (I will tell them later!).

On Thursday, their dog Mister, who came to their house as a stray, got hold of a prescription bottle (he's a chewer) and chewed through it and ingested the medicine. He has been at the emergency vet in Nashville since 3 am Friday morning with low blood pressure and a low heart rate. We think he is going to be alright, but it is just taking time, and needless to say, that time is very expensive.

Mister is loved by both of my parents, but he is especially special to my daddy. Those of you who know my daddy know that he is struggling with some memory issues which may or may not have been caused by COVID, or may be the start of dementia, we just aren't sure. Anyway, this dog showed up at just the right time, and we all believe him to be a gift straight from God! He is white, and daddy says he is the color of an angel. Mister has helped daddy so very much, and I am praying that he makes it through this time. My daddy has been a heating and air man most of his life. He has made a good living at it, but I can tell you, he could never be a rich man because of his giving heart and only God knows how much service, equipment, and his own finances he has given away, especially to seniors and widows. He never charged the "going rate" for his services because he doesn't believe in taking advantage of people...some of you may have been sorry to see him have to retire because of his reasonable prices! Daddy would never tell anyone how much he gives because he said that is between him and God, but I do know a few instances where he turned around and gave checks for payment back because he felt God told him to.

This is where my plea comes in. I feel that it is time to turn the tables and show my parents some love and support. I know that the vet bill is already over $4,000 for Mister's treatment. If you feel led, please donate to help cover Mister's vet bill, and if you can't, then I ask that you lift up a prayer for Mister's healing and recovery because I believe that God made the animals and He loves them too, and cares about what makes us happy. Thank you so much!
