I recently rescued Missy, a tiny 6 to 7 week old kitten, from some bushes at a truck stop. She cried out for help, and I couldn’t leave her behind. When I brought her home, I noticed she was limping, so I took her to the vet for a check-up. That’s when I learned she has a broken femur. The news was heartbreaking, especially since the surgery to mend her bone is very expensive, and amputation is also a possibility if the repair isn’t possible. Because she’s so small, the procedure is complicated and may require multiple surgeries as she grows.

The funds raised here will go directly toward Missy’s surgery, follow-up care, medications, and anything else she needs to recover. If there’s any money left over, it will be used for her food, toys, and ongoing care. My main goal is to cover her surgery expenses so she can have the best chance at a healthy, happy life.
