Help Missy Recover: Rebuilding After Loss & Medical Hardship

campaign for my beloved Niece.

Missy has been through a lot—losing her home in a recent weather event has turned her life upside down. Anyone who knows her knows how much she cares for others, especially through her brand, Comfortable Silence, which is her passion.

After the storm, she relocated to Destin for a few months to focus on her mental health but remained committed to her brand. She continued commuting six hours one way, three times a month, to attend markets and spread awareness about mental health—so much so that her car eventually broke down.

When she returned to St. Pete in January, her goal was to find part-time work while continuing to grow her business. However, she began experiencing body pain and swelling in November, which worsened significantly upon returning—spreading to her knees, elbows, hands, and other joints. A severe flare-up has left her unable to perform normal tasks, get out of bed on many days, or even go to the gym. Doctors suspect rheumatoid arthritis, but she needs further tests to confirm. She's currently on a treatment plan, but it will take months for the medication to take full effect. In the meantime, she's limited in what she can do, especially for in-person work.

The reality of her situation:
