Help Missy Keep The Woodlawn Diner

Donation protected

My baby sister, Missy, took over ownership of the Woodlawn Diner in 2015. It had been her dream to have her own restaurant for many years. Missy is only the third owner out of 80 years that it had existed.

Missy has worked her butt off every day to keep afloat. She has put so muchblood, sweat, tears, and money into her dream.

Since the pandemic, Missy has had to shut down. She tried to stay open, but take out and delivery were not realistic options for her. It’s not that she didn’t attempt them, the diner’s location and means made it impossible.

Missy applied for the government’s small business loan that was supposed to help during this crisis, but was denied. When I asked her about it, she said
“I only asked for $2800.00. That's all I could ask for. I don't have a lot of employees. That's how it goes, I guess.” And
“The loans they have out aren't meant for super small businesses like mine. I listened to the president the one time, and he said not all small businesses are gonna make it.”

We just can’t let her dream fade. William Fichtner filmed scenes of Coldbrook a there.

PLEASE HELP US GET HER BACK ON HER FEET. SHE CAN’T LOSE THE WOODLAWN DINER. IT’S BEEN HERE 80 YEARS.

A LITTLE BIT GOES A LONG WAY.
