Help Missy find her forever home

Hi, my name is Carol and I am currently travelling in Morocco with my husband Andrew and my dear dog, Zeus.

Despite my efforts to just feed and water strays I have been caught!

Staying at a campsite we could hear a puppy crying, that in itself isn't unusual...but the length of time it went on for was very unusual...over 24 hours.

She was in a huge dry riverbed, no other dogs seen. Someone had kindly left a load of chicken entrails on the far side but still no dogs...I am seriously worried something bad has happened to the strays of the area (sadly it is a thing)

So we tried leaving food and water but she was just running away...well more staggering really.

After another few hours it was getting dark, so we caught her, fed and gave her water...she was so dehydrated (little at a time as didn't want any vomiting) Her nose was sunburnt too.

I have called her Missy as she keeps looking at me when I ask her...what are we going to do with you eh missy?

If I was here long enough I could get all her vaccinations and titre test done, then wait the quarantine period of three months before driving home.

Sadly we have to leave 8th May so I can start the process but then she will need to be boarded in kennels until September.

My aim is to get her a wonderful home in the UK (after a home check of course) with any left over money going to a dog rescue in Morocco which offers a a catch, neuter and release of the street dogs - that is the only way to stop this problem.

It's my birthday very soon and this would be a perfect present for me.

I know that there are many dogs needing new homes home and abroad but none turned up in front of me. I don't know if this will work but I have to at least try.
