Miss Sha’vonne’s Recovery Fund

Sha’vonne Oruh is a woman of God who devotes her life to caring for others. She not only takes care of her friends and family, but also her extended family of over 200 infants, toddlers and preschoolers at The Child Garden South Meadows. For 13 years, she has become a cornerstone to the families and staff at this establishment .  She not only provides care and instruction for the children, but she trains staff and supports them in the delivering curriculum to help our children thrive.  Outside of the Child Garden she has provided hundreds of other children with swim instruction and faith based lessons. 

Sha’vonne has spent many years overcoming her struggles with health and weight. She has managed to lose 150 pounds through hard work and dedication to eating healthy and exercising. The next step in her journey is a surgery to help build her confidence and remove excess skin that resulted from all of this weight-loss.

She and her family have sacrificed and saved the money for her procedure. However, the recovery time is extensive and she will suffer an economic hardship from all of the work and wages missed.  She has spent years supporting others and now it is our turn to show her some love. Please consider donating to this beautiful woman.
