If you know our mom, you know how selfless, loving and kind she is. She would do anything for anyone and now she needs our help.
On Wednesday, March 12th, while out of town she received a call from a neighbor that her home was on fire. She lost everything including her three beloved cats, Mojo, Cookie, and Apollo.
Our mom has poured so much love and care into her community through her 20+ years as a preschool teacher in Branson West. Being “Miss Sandy” was a job she loved fiercely and was devastated to lose when the school closed unexpectedly a year and a half ago. She has since been pouring her time and energy into her unpaid work as an advocate for abused and neglected children through the CASA program in Taney County.
She is the best person we know and with minimal insurance coverage we want to help spare her the additional worry of finances as she begins to rebuild her life.
Nothing could ever replace her precious kitties, photo albums, or the family heirlooms passed down for generations that were tragically lost but any amount helps and would be more than appreciated.
