Miss Mary Anderson is a 79-year-old senior citizen who has been my neighbor in Cambridge, Maryland, for over 20 years. Over the years, I have watched her work hard to maintain her independence and take care of her home. As she has gotten older, it has become more difficult for her to keep up with the repairs her house needs. I have been helping her as much as I can, but the repairs have become urgent. Recently, I had to fix a ceiling in her living room that was falling down, and there are still many areas that need attention, including the roof, bathroom floors, and other parts of the house.

The urgency of this situation is to allow Miss Mary to continue living safely in her home and to ensure she can keep her independence. The funds raised will go directly to hiring contractors and helpers to fix the roof, repair the bathroom floors and ceilings, and address other essential repairs. These improvements are necessary to make her home safe and secure, and to give her the peace of mind she deserves in her golden years.
