Miss Ma’am has been a cherished part of our community for years. She brings joy, comfort, and a little bit of sass to everyone who knows her.

Miss Ma’am requires some somewhat urgent healthcare and ongoing maintenance to keep her happy and healthy. Veterinary visits, medication, and basic care all come with a cost, and we want to ensure she gets the best care possible. Recently, Miss Ma'am presented with a lump on her belly. She was taken to the vet and given antibiotics. She has a revisit in 2 weeks and depending on the outcome, she may require surgery.

8/29/25 UPDATE

Miss Ma’am is scheduled for surgery today. The area that initially caused concern has worsened and become infected, making surgery necessary as soon as possible. After an exam at the vet yesterday, it was determined this procedure could not wait.

As soon as we receive an update on how she’s doing, we will share the news with you all.
