Help Miss Long Beach win Miss California USA

My name is RaKiya Winton and I am competing in the upcoming Miss California Teen USA or Miss California USA pageant. I am currently Miss Long Beach, and I can’t wait to represent my area in the state competition this summer. If I win the crown, I will have the chance to compete at Miss USA or Miss Teen USA this fall!

I am an engineer working in Space & Launch Systems supporting our country’s goal of landing humans on Mars. In addition, I am also a real estate investor pursuing generational wealth for my family, actress, dance instructor, mentor, and active agent of change for our youth.

Throughout my journey of discovering my life’s purpose, I realized, it’s not about me. It’s no secret that we all have strengths and weaknesses, but if we all come together using our strengths, collectively, no weaknesses will exist. As a community, we can become powerful beyond all measures. I have been fortunate to have a career in STEM and be successful in pursuing my dreams of working in the entertainment industry, all while fulfilling my social responsibility of pouring into the generations that will come after me by way of volunteering and mentorship. I want to use this platform to continue being a role model and expand my reach of promoting humankind to use their strengths to be agents of change while living a life that’s true to who they are. My favorite motto is, “Who says you can’t have it all?”

John Lennon once said, “A dream you dream alone is only a dream, but a dream you dream together is reality.” I believe this, and I dream of becoming your state queen, but I can’t do it alone. I need your help. I aim to represent you and this wonderful area at the state pageant. All you would need to do is make a donation toward my pageant fees. A donation of any amount would help.
