We (Deb Combs' family) are reaching out to let you know that we are kicking off a campaign to help Deb with some of her growing medical bills and other expenses during recovery.

You may have heard that Deb was recently diagnosed with breast cancer and underwent a double mastectomy. She now faces about 5 months of chemo followed by radiation.  She does have medical insurance, but we all know there's not only hefty deductibles but insurance doesn't cover all medical expenses either.... and let's not forget- it doesn't pay for the roof over your head or food to eat during recovery.

Deb is an alternative education teacher ( and has been for nearly 25 yeara ) that gives selflessly everyday. She misses her students and can't wait to return to school, but in the mean time could really use some help with the financial burden (although she would never ask herself) as she doesn't have a partners income to rely on.

Any amount you are willing or able to help would be so appreciated. However, if you are unable to donate, would you mind saying a prayer instead for speedy recovery? I know she would appreciate that too!
