I adopted Miss Daisy from a shelter just before Thanksgiving 2025. From the moment she came home, it felt like we had always known each other. She became very protective of me right away, always leaning on me and loving to cuddle. We have been best friends from the start, with no adjustment period needed. Every day, I look forward to coming home to her—she is truly my heart.

On March 5th, Miss Daisy had an accident while running around chasing rabbits. I rushed her to an emergency vet, where she needed surgery. The cost was significant, and I had just received a new credit card with a limit meant for home repairs. The vet was kind enough to accept what I could pay, and Miss Daisy had her surgery. Unfortunately, her wound has not healed well, and due to a lack of funds, I have not been able to take her back for follow-up care. Her condition has since gotten worse. I applied for both Care Credit and Scratch Pay but was denied by both. A coworker suggested I reach out to GoFundMe, and so here I am, hoping for help.

I do not know the exact cost of the required surgery, but I imagine it will be similar to or more than the first. Please, if you are able to help Miss Daisy, do so. Thank you and much LOVE.
