On November 27, 2024 the very loved Circle LB teacher Miss Coral tragically lost her partner of two years to suicide. Leo and Coral were living in a below-market rent controlled building while she received financial assistance from her childhood time spent in the foster system. Unfortunately, that financial assistance was cut off only months prior to her partner's death. Coral and Leo split their monthly bills in half and both cared for their pet cat together. At this time Miss Coral is temporarily staying at a family members house and has plans to return to school and further her education in teaching children. This fundraiser is intended on lightening Miss Coral's financial load and helping her rebuild her life after this loss.

Miss Coral has been working with The Circle kids for three years and has been a bright light in many of their lives. She taught my own son how to play Uno, a current family favorite in our house. I cannot tell you how many games we played during Christmas break! Thank you all in advance for your kindness and support towards Miss Coral.
