Dear Friends and Loved Ones,

As some of you may already know, or are just now learning, our dear Miss Cie suffered a serious injury on May 7th—her birthday. She took a bad fall and fractured her kneecap (patella), which required hospitalization and surgery. As you can imagine, she will be out of commission for quite some time as she begins the road to recovery.

This year marks Miss Cie’s 44th year as a performer and a cherished role model in the LGBTQ+ community. She has always been one of the first to lend a hand, show up for others, and give her heart to those in need. Now, it’s our turn to show up for her.

Asking for help is never easy, especially for someone as proud and independent as Miss Cie. But with love and encouragement, she has agreed to let us share her story and allow those who care for her to offer support.

We’ve set up a GoFundMe for anyone who is able and willing to contribute during this difficult time. Every bit helps and is deeply appreciated.
