Help Miss Cheryl Mulberry

Hi! My name is Mark Stanton. I am asking for your help. Miss Cheryl Mulberry has been a dedicated Christian educator for her entire career. As a single woman teaching in a Christian school she has always had to be very thrifty. She has never asked anyone to help her. Recently she has had several financial setbacks. I would love to help her more. That is why I am asking you to help her so that she can be relieved of the fear, stress and financial burden of her transportation needs.
A Christian teacher’s salary is typically 40%-50% of a public school teacher. Never has she complained. But, this has been a constant and significant worry for her to make ends meet throughout her nearly 40 years dedicated to Christian service as an educator and missionary. She does it because God has called her to this career. And, she does it because she has a profound love for her students.
For the past decade she has had a significant commute because she had to live somewhere she can afford on her Christian educator’s salary. This has been a financial burden in gas and wear and tear on her car. At the beginning of the school year, she was told it would be too expensive for her to fix her car, repairs well beyond its value. I am sure you are aware that there is an extreme shortage of used vehicles, especially in her affordability.
She eventually found a hybrid car on Carvana that she could afford. She thought is was an answer to prayer. It was. However, it has had several issues that the dealer will no longer repair. Recently, she was stranded on the road. She was told that it would be an additional $10,000 for the battery pack with some other additional repairs costs to get her back on the road. This is in addition to the other repairs that she had recently paid and the monthly payments for the used car.
(Update 01/22- Carvana bought it back at a loss to Miss Mulberry. But, she was able, with help, to pay the difference in the loan off. Unfortunately, she needed a vehicle and had to incur debt even with help.)
Simply, she does not have the ability to pay for the car payments and the repairs along with all the other expenses just to live. That is why I am asking you to consider helping her out. I am praying and requesting that we can pay for the repairs and take the burden of the monthly payments away from her so that she does not have to have the financial stress and burden. Any amount will go a long way to sharing the love and support she needs and I believe deserves.
(Update 01/22- She was able to get a vehicle. With your help, she will be able to afford it.)
One of my passions is to support Christian education in every way I can. Please consider how you can financially come alongside this life-long Christian educator. She is doing eternal work and I hope the Church can support her in her time of need.
