Hello!
This is the Ceja Family, proud relatives of Miss.Ceja.
She is the first in the family to complete two associate degrees in Special Education and Elementary Education from SAC. Recently, in the span of three years she completed her BA, MA, and Teaching Credential from Chapman University in the city of Orange. She has already broken so many generational barriers. Coming from an immigrant family, she has proven her strength and determination to not just obtain the American Dream, but has remained humble and willing to share it with those around her. She is making a name for herself. For that we praise and hope that she gets all she works and wishes for. She stands not only as a reminder that she is capable of anything, but that we all are. Serving her community to be the hope that as a six year old from Mexico, she did not receive. She is working to better the system for the kids who need it most.
Now she is set to begin her first year as an elementary school teacher in the district of Garden Grove.
We are extremely proud and inspired by all she is doing. However, we are now working to set up her classroom. She wants to create an environment where children feel safe, seen, supported, and most of all loved. She knows that outside of the home, a classroom could be the safest place a kid can have and it is her goal to enable any child to feel motivated, and cared for throughout their education.
As we begin to set up her new classroom, we ask that if you can, donations are greatly appreciated. We also have an Amazon registry, so if there is anything on there that can be supplied, it would be awesome! Anything will help! :))
