Help Misrata pay for her husbands treatment.

Hi, My name is Shafu and I am raising funds for my cleaning lady Misrata, whose husband Nusret Ibrahimovic was diagnosed with leukemia. She is very hardworking and has a day job at a furniture factory in NY and cleans homes during the evening. Her husband worked at the same factory and because of his diagnosis, he had to stop working. He has to go for chemotherapy treatment and she has become a caregiver. She will be the sole income earner in their household and her income will not be enough to cover all of the expenses and his medical bills.

 

Both of them had built a life for themselves and their two kids by sheer hard work, in spite of coming to the USA as refugees from Bosnia. Misrata was dreaming of a little respite and being able to relax, once her son graduated from college. She is heartbroken but resilient to keep fighting for her husband and her family.
