Hi everyone, I’m asking for help for my 6-month-old adopted puppy, Miso.
Miso is a rescued dog from Mexico. She is incredibly friendly, loving, playful, and gentle. She loves adults, kids, and other dogs. She brings joy wherever she goes, and at only 6 months old, she should be running, playing, and growing, not facing a major surgery.
Miso and I just arrived in Canada two days ago, and this was her very first weekend here. I was so excited for this new chapter with her.
But while running in the park, Miso became frightened by another dog, fell, and broke her leg. She was lying there crying in pain. It was heartbreaking.
Miso now needs urgent surgery to repair her broken leg and give her the chance to heal properly and walk again without pain.
I am doing everything I can for her, but I simply cannot afford this on my own. I make about $900 CAD per month, and taking on a loan for emergency surgery would create severe financial hardship.
Asking for help is not easy, but I am trying everything possible to give Miso the care she needs.
The estimated cost to help Miso get the surgery she needs is approximately $7,300 CAD including tax, with additional follow-up and recovery costs possible.
Funds raised will help cover veterinary costs, including:
Sedation for surgery: $200
Post-operation pain control injection: $47
Induction of anesthesia and monitoring: $900
Surgery fee: $3,500
Admission fee: $400
Hospitalization: $1,400
Blood collection: $45
Any donation, no matter how small, will help Miso get closer to the surgery she urgently needs.
If you can’t donate, sharing this fundraiser could make a huge difference.
Thank you for helping Miso heal and giving this sweet rescue puppy the chance to run again.
❤️ Miso and Samantha
