Miso is my sweet, gentle and curious girl who loves the outdoors and snuggles on the couch. She had been missing for 10 long days. I searched and posted on social media, checking lost pets pages and hoping her microchip would bring her home.

When she was finally found, my relief turned into heartbreak- she was found with her paw in a rabbit trap.

A race to the vet and was told her paw couldn't be saved but she could, the only way would have her leg amputated.

I quickly made that decision, otherwise she wouldn't be with us today.

A little bit about me and my year so far

In the early months of the year I had suffered from a fracture in my 5th metatarsal bone in my foot and a month later breaking it as it was healing, resulting in not being able to return to the workplace until it had fully healed.

That was in the middle of April and I have still not been able to return to work, however should be back on my feet and in the workplace within a couple of weeks.

For the first time I have needed to rely on the government system and it's fortnightly payments, leaving me a little further behind each week and putting a strain on my financial situation.

Hence why I am asking for assistance for my poor girl, a little goes along way and receiving any amount of money would make me feel extremely grateful. Thanks for reading and I hope you have a wonderful day.
