Hi, my name is Amani, and I’d love for you to meet my sweet 9 week old kitten, Miso Soup. She’s playful, affectionate, and full of personality, the kind of kitten who runs to greet you, and purrs the moment you pick her up.
 But behind her brave little face, Miso is fighting a battle she didn’t choose. Miso was born with a rare genetic deformity called Atresia Ani, that makes it extremely difficult and painful for her to go to the toilet. Her anus and vulva were born fused together. Because of this, she keeps getting sick, suffering from urinary tract infections and constant discomfort. She struggles with constipation, can’t eat, and cries all day.
The vet has told me that without corrective surgery, she’ll keep suffering, and that eventually, she’d have to be put down.
 l can’t let this happen. She’s my baby, and she deserves the chance to live a long, healthy, and happy life.
The surgery she needs will give her that chance, freeing her from pain, preventing dangerous infections, and allowing her to grow up like any other kitten.
 Right now, I can’t afford the cost of the operation on my own. But together, I believe we can give Miso the future she deserves.
