I picked up Mishka from a non-profit rescue when she was just four years old. She had been a stray up until that point in her life and had already been through a lot. During her time at the non-profit, she acquired FHV, which has since caused many other health complications, one of which being frequent ear infections. Recently, Mishka got an ear infection that would not go away. After many vet visits, I found out she has an inner ear infection that cannot be treated without surgery. Without treatment, it's possible the infection could spread into her brain and become fatal.

Mishka is the sweetest cat you will ever meet and has been with me through some of the darkest parts of my life. I don't know where I would be without her, and I couldn't dream of a future without going to bed with her curled up next to me every night. She is still a very young cat, just 8 years old, and has a lot of life ahead of her.
