Support Mishelle Ramos (JstHavFun) in Her Fight Against Breast Cancer
If you’ve ever danced at an event where you felt truly safe, seen, and celebrated there’s a good chance Mishelle had something to do with it.
Known to many as JstHavFun , Mishelle has been a pillar of the LGBTQ+ community for over two decades, creating unforgettable events and holding space for joy, connection, and belonging. She's shown up for so many of us…now it's our turn to show up for her.
Mishelle has recently been diagnosed with Stage 3 breast cancer, and her fight is just beginning.
While she’s facing this battle with the same strength, grace, and infectious positivity she brings to everything in her life, the truth is: treatment is physically, emotionally, and financially overwhelming. She will undergo chemotherapy, a mastectomy, and radiation.. a journey that demands rest, resilience, and serious resources.
What community work doesn’t come with is a long-term safety net. The countless hours she’s spent building safe spaces haven’t included retirement plans or health benefits. That’s where we come in.
Now I’ll be real with you..it took some serious convincing to even get her to let me make this page. Mishelle is the kind of human who will give until her cup is empty and then somehow still offer you a refill. But this time, we’re letting it be known that she’s officially banned from saying “I’m fine…I got it” this time.
We’re showing up for her. Period.
I'm asking everyone whose life Mishelle has touched to give back.
Let’s surround her with the same love and support she’s poured into this community. Your donation-big or small-will go directly toward:
* Medical expenses not covered by insurance
* Recovery and healing support
* Daily living costs during treatment
* Giving Mishelle the peace of mind to focus fully on her health
We want her to focus on healing, not bills.
Mish is a fighter.
She is resilient.
She is radiant.
She is one of the most positive, generous humans I know..and she deserves the world.
Let’s lift her up like she’s lifted so many of us. Let’s give her back some of the joy she’s shared so freely.
Please Donate, share, and spread the word.
This is what we in community do…we show up <3
With deep gratitude and fierce hope,
