Help Mister Misha Cat Get The Surgery He Desperately Needs!

Hi everyone,

We’re raising funds for a very special cat we’ve named Misha, who came into our lives under heartbreaking circumstances.

We found Misha in an abandoned lot alongside a few other stray cats that we regularly feed and look after. From the moment we saw him, it was clear something was very wrong. He was in terrible shape—his leg was badly injured, he was limping, and it was obvious he was in a lot of pain.

We brought him inside immediately and took him to the vet. His first visit cost $400, and the second visit cost $700, which included X-rays and additional exams. After reviewing the results, the vet strongly recommended that Misha be seen by an orthopedic specialist. Unfortunately, the only option to relieve his pain and give him a good quality of life is leg amputation.

The surgery is estimated to cost $4,200.

Right now, Misha is on Gabapentin daily to help manage his pain, but this is only a temporary solution. Without surgery, he will continue to suffer, and we will need ongoing pain medication unless we’re able to move forward with the operation within the next month.

We are doing everything we can on our end. I run a dog clothing e-commerce brand, and every dollar of profit is being put toward Misha’s surgery. I also have three dogs and two other cats, all of whom were originally fosters that became “foster fails” because we couldn’t bear to give them up. In addition, I run a small dog walking business, and I walk dogs that are currently in foster care completely for free.

Helping animals in need is something we genuinely care about and do every day—not just in emergencies like this.
