Help Misha Heal: Support Her Recovery
Donation protected
Hi friends,
As some of you may know, our sweet girl Misha has been very sick recently, on top of dealing with some long-term health issues we've been working through for a while. This past week has been especially heartbreaking and overwhelming.
Misha recently visited a cardiologist at UC Davis to ensure her heart is strong enough for surgery to remove a large mass in her mouth. That surgery is still ahead of us—but before we could even schedule it, she was attacked by two raccoons. The attack left her scratched, shaken, and deeply traumatized.
The next day, her condition took a sudden turn for the worse. She stopped eating, began trembling, couldn’t sleep, and started falling over.
In just one week, she’s been to the vet and emergency room three times. She’s had blood work, x-rays, and other diagnostics, and we’re still waiting on some results. Thankfully, rabies has been ruled out—but the bills have already reached nearly $3,000, and we’re bracing for more. On top of that, we still need to raise funds for her upcoming surgery to remove the mass, which is critical to her long-term health and recovery.
We’re emotionally and financially drained. All we want is for Misha to feel better and get back to being her bright, loving self.
If you’re able to help in any way, it would mean so much to us. Every little bit helps—and even if you can’t donate, sharing this page would mean the world.
Thank you for your love, support, and kind messages
