Help Misha get to his forever home in the UK
Donation protected
Misha had a rough start in life as a stray dog in Western Siberia. Before he was rescued, he had been caught in a trap and consequently, had to have his back leg amputated.
The situation for stray dogs in Siberia is desperate. They are often poisoned, trapped, shot or worse. Those that are rounded up in the neutering programs often die of disease while being held in the kennels, if they survive they are released onto the streets again. In the long winters, temperatures are regularly -40 degrees and those dogs that don't freeze to death, starve or are hit by vehicles as they scavenge for food and warmth in their struggle to stay alive.
Misha is definitely a lucky boy! He is the most loving and affectionate floofer - despite having been in pain and struggling on the streets for so long - and we have finally found him a new forever home in sunny Wales, UK!
Unfortunately, the cost of bringing a large, disabled dog over from Siberia is considerable and so I have started this crowd funder to help his new family pay for all of his vaccinations, vet visits, and travel home.
Please give what you can, we and Misha will be SO grateful! Any extra donations received will go to help other stray dogs in and around the city of Nizhnevartovsk, Siberia. (Please follow the amazing Gulnara @happiness_nv or @bigbadwolfwalks @_the_long_and_short_of_it_ for more info).
