Hello friends of Mischa, Jes, and Morty,
Bad news to share: Morty the cat is unwell. He is only 5 years old, but has experienced a sudden and recurring blockage in his urinary tract. This will cause liver damage and almost certainly death if not managed. Mischa and Jes have already had to pay thousands of dollars in vet bills and cab fare.
As we all know, COVID-19 has left many of us scrambling to pay bills . Mischa and Jes are not immune from this. If you are able, please donate to help cover these medical expenses for their best furry friend Morty:
$4750 for existing expenses (multiple examinations, treatment, and now 48 hours of monitoring at the vet).
$1800 for surgical intervention ("perineal urethrostomy") expected within the next few days.
$450 for unexpected/upcoming expenses (post-op follow-up, monitoring, medications, taxi fare).
These are extremely lovely people (and a cat) we're talking about here. Let's help them out as much as we can!

- Covid-19 has affected their work situations and significantly reduced their cash flow
- Their car died a few weeks ago, hence all the taxi fare expenses (visits to the vet have become a logistical nightmare as well)
- Again, Morty is only 5 years old; this is an unexpected, acute, and treatable medical crisis
