Dear friends and family of Eduardo and Misbell Gomez,

We are coming before you for our friends, The Gomez family, and are asking all of us, their community, to prayerfully consider partnering with them financially with an unexpected health diagnosis Misbell received just this last month.

Many of you know the beautiful Gomez family, Eduardo, Misbell, Santiago and Bella. This family came to the United States nine and a half years ago, seeking refuge after facing persecution and danger in their home country. Throughout the years, they have endured sacrifices, challenges, and moments of uncertainty, but have always held on to the hope that with faith and hard work, they could overcome any obstacle.

During a routine check-up, Misbell was diagnosed with thyroid cancer with metastasis to the lymph nodes. This diagnosis has been a hard blow to the family; they have decided to fight the good fight with everything they have. Misbell requires urgent and specialized medical treatment. After much prayer and advice, she will seek alternative treatments after her surgery that offer non-toxic treatments and has been highly effective. The testimonies have given them the hope and confidence to overcome this illness. They believe wholeheartedly that the Lord will be glorified through this.

We as a community can be the hands and feet of Jesus and come around our sister to support her in receiving this treatment. It’s a substantial cost and beyond what they can afford, but we believe the Lord is already working in Misbell’s story to see His Glory revealed.
