Misael has been selected as the 2025 Invited Scholar at Horizon Community Middle School to attend the Junior National Young Leaders Conference (JrNYLC) in Washington, D.C. This conference is a once-in-a-lifetime experience that will empower Misael to strengthen his leadership skills, meet like-minded peers, and learn from accomplished mentors.

Misael is an outstanding student and athlete, balancing both academic and athletic achievements. He’s a straight-A student with a GPA of 4.0 and above, excelling as a top performer in his advanced classes. Beyond academics, Misael is a dedicated wrestler and practices jujitsu, showing the same drive and discipline in sports as he does in the classroom. His dream is to become an aerospace engineer, driven by a passion for science, technology, and making a positive impact on the world. This conference will help bring him closer to his goals by providing him with invaluable tools, insights, and connections.
