Help Mirjana beat Breast Cancer!

Hello Everyone ,

My name is Danka Blagojevic and this GoFund me page is my last resort in hopes to help my childhood best friend and her family. I’m confident that we as a community can come together to help the Spasojevic family who currently resides in Belgrade, Serbia.

Mirjana Spasojevic is only 44 years old and has been battling breast cancer since 2018. This has not been an easy fight for her and her family. Mirjana has two wonderful and helpful kids ages 16 and 6 who have been by their mothers’ side during this difficult and painful journey. We have in the recent year found out that the cancer has spread to her brain and spinal cord which has put her in an immobile state.This devastating battle has put a strain on the family emotionally and financially. Her insurance through the government covers about 20% towards the basic medication. The medication and tests required for Mirjana at this stage of her battle are not covered. The monthly cost for her tests, scans and medication is approximately $500.00CAD.

My goal is to raise money for Mirjana’s medical bills including treatments, a personal support worker and basic necessities for the children. Mirjana is a strong woman who wants to fight this excruciating battle in hopes to stay arounds for as long as she can and watch her kids grow. Without proper care and daily medication intake, her days with us are limited.
