A few weeks ago, my grandma suffered a sudden brain aneurysm while she was in El Salvador. She had to undergo emergency surgery to save her life. While we are so grateful that she made it through the operation, she is still in fragile condition and needs constant medical care to recover.

Because this happened outside of the U.S., the costs of her surgery, hospital stay, and continuing treatments are very high. On top of that, once she is stable enough, we hope to bring her back home to the U.S. so she can continue healing surrounded by family and proper care.

All donations will go directly toward:

• Covering her hospital bills and ongoing treatments in El Salvador

• Medications and post-surgery rehabilitation

• Travel and medical transport costs to bring her back home safely

My grandma is one of the kindest and strongest people I know, and seeing her go through this has been so hard on our whole family. We are doing everything we can to help her, but we can’t do it alone.

Ayuda a mi abuelita a sanar y regresar a casa

Hace unas semanas, mi abuelita sufrió un aneurisma cerebral mientras estaba en El Salvador. Tuvo que someterse a una cirugía de emergencia para salvarle la vida. Aunque estamos muy agradecidos de que haya salido de la operación, su estado sigue siendo delicado y necesita atención médica constante para recuperarse.

Debido a que esto ocurrió fuera de los Estados Unidos, los costos de la cirugía, la hospitalización y los tratamientos continuos son muy altos. Además, cuando esté lo suficientemente estable, esperamos poder traerla de regreso a casa en los Estados Unidos para que pueda seguir sanando rodeada de su familia y con la atención adecuada.

• Cubrir las cuentas del hospital y tratamientos en El Salvador

• Medicamentos y rehabilitación después de la cirugía

• Gastos de viaje y transporte médico para traerla de regreso a casa con seguridad
