Help the Massachi Family Rebuild After Tropical Storm Helene

Hi all,

We’re Anna and Hiley Shimony, friends of Miri and Andy Massachi, and we live in Asheville, North Carolina. Recently, Tropical Storm Helene caused devastating damage to Miri and Andy’s home, where they live with their three children. While our house wasn’t affected, Miri and Andy’s house took the full force of the storm. Several trees crashed through their roof while the family was inside, and they had to crawl out as the storm raged on.

Their kitchen and large parts of the house were destroyed, leaving their home unlivable for the entire family. Miri and Andy are now dealing with the emotional and financial stress of not only rebuilding their home but also finding temporary housing for themselves and their three children. They need immediate help with expenses like temporary accommodations, food, basic necessities, and the initial costs of repairs.

We’re raising funds to help Miri, Andy, and their children cover these critical needs during this challenging time. All funds raised will go directly toward their temporary housing, daily living expenses, and home repairs.
