This precious kitty is Penelope. She showed up on my porch about a week ago really skinny and missing an eye. I am not a cat person but I was completely thrown off by how sweet she is. She was immediately asking for pets and trying to come inside. I tried to brush it off but she kept coming back. I knew I had to help her. With the help of some of my gracious neighbors, I was able to get her to the vet to scan for a microchip, get a check up, and to get a FeLV vaccine. Luckily she is in good health (minus ear mites, which we are currently treating). The discharge in her eye is due to dirt and debris clogging her tear duct since she is always outside. I love this cat very much and would love to take her off of the street. Money is so tight right now and I just need enough to get her tick and flea prevention, basic cat necessities (a litter box, litter, shampoo, nail clippers), rabies vaccine, and a spay. I really do not want to leave her outside anymore, as there are lots of stray dogs and tom cats, and there are even cat aggressive dogs right next door. Please help keep this kitty alive and out of a shelter. I am more than willing to take care of her and keep her inside, I just need a little help.
