AUGUST 6 UPDATE:

Miranda’s doctors informed her sibling Jamie this afternoon that her brain stem is severely damaged. Even if Miranda wakes from the coma, she won’t have the ability to stay conscious or move the entire left side of her body.

From Jamie:

“I chose to keep her here for a day or two so that her friends and loved ones could say goodbye. If you want to come see her at any point today or tomorrow you're welcome to.”

Miranda is at UHS Wilson Hospital in ICU 5. Visiting hours are from 12 to 8 p.m.

Miranda Brown was in a serious car accident on August 4, 2025, that left her unconscious but still breathing.

Miranda was rushed to the hospital with severe head trauma and underwent several hours of emergency surgery to treat a massive brain hemorrhage. She remains in the ICU in extremely critical condition.

Miranda is a single mom to an 8-year-old daughter and full-time caregiver to her grandmother, whose own health is very tenuous. In March, Miranda lost her fiancé, Dane, suddenly and tragically, and has since taken on the mantle of providing for her family almost entirely on her own.

Friends and family have stepped up to care for both Juniper and Dolly while Miranda recovers, but the family faces mounting bills, medical and travel expenses in the meantime.
